　　Filming has begun on the fourth series of popular Bath-based detective drama McDonald & Dodds, starring Tala Gouveia and BAFTA award-winner Jason Watkins.　　　　Comprising three feature length films (3 x120), the guest cast for the first story includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer/songwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).　　　　In this first film, McDonald and Dodds begin to investigate when a middle-aged woman is found shot dead in a rented flat. The killer has removed all clues to her identity, but DNA reveals she went missing over 35 years ago. Where has she been all those years? And who with?　　　　Returning to the cast this series are Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) who plays Chief Superintendent Ormond and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders) who plays DC Goldie. Bhavik C. Pankhania (World On Fire) joins the line up as DC Lee.　　　　The series has been commissioned for ITV by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones and will be produced by Joe Shrubb. Executive producers are Robert Murphy, Damien Timmer and Charlotte Webber. The first film is written by Robert Murphy and directed by Khurrum M. 　　世间万物各有大小。仰望浩瀚星空，地球不过是沧海一粟；对于虫蚁，人类又如同巨人，遮天蔽日。宇宙是如何决定一切事物的大小的？万物的大小是否重要？本片带着这些问题，大开脑洞，进行了一系列无法实际操作的思维实验：在木星那么大的地球上生活会是什么样？我们如果变成巨人，或者是蚂蚁一 样大又会有什么变化？还有我们习以为常的太阳，把它放大或缩小一些对我们将产生什么影响？在两期节目中，我们将把这些天马行空的幻想用科学手法进行模拟，用科学的分析解释万物大小的重要之处，极具趣味性。
